Timothy R. Miller, MD sits down with co-host Jason Bloom, MD to discuss his recent research on long-term 3-dimensional volume assessment of fat repositioning lower blepharoplasty. As his preferred approach to lower-lid blepharoplasty, Dr. Miller says 3D imaging offers the ability to quantify results he's seen qualitatively in practice with effacement of the tear trough and enhancement of the cheek area. He talks about the value of 3D imaging in pre- and post-operative patient care, and even its benefits in the operating room. He also shares plans for further research he hopes to do using 3D analysis.
