Neurostimulation and Tear Production

Jennifer Craig, MCOptom, PhD, discusses the clinical trial data on the Oculeve Intranasal Stimulator for the treatment of dry eye disease. The double-masked randomized, controlled, multicenter study, was conducted in nine centers across Australia and New Zealand. Active intranasal neurostimulation increased tear production at every visit with minimal adverse events.
