Kamra inlay is FDA approved and the Ebola virus can persist intraocularly. The corneal inlay represents a milestone approval for presbyopic correction, but how widespread will its use really be? A case report has revealed that the Ebola virus can exist in a patient’s vitreous well after recovery from the illness. This reminds physicians of the complexity of viral infections and to be vigilant over the long course of a patient’s treatment.
