Nuclear Fragment Removal Post-operatively with ReSure Sealant

Cynthia Matossian, MD, FACS, presents the removal of retained nuclear fragment from the anterior chamber with the use of ReSure Ocular Sealant (Ocular Therapeutics) on the reopened corneal incision. The pupil is constricted with pilocarpine and a viscoadaptive OVD is used to prevent the fragment from moving around in the anterior chamber. The fragment is carefully removed via phacoemulsification on low flow settings. The incision is then sealed with ReSure Ocular Sealant.
